It is becoming increasingly common to find artificial intelligence implemented on the different digital platforms we use in our daily lives, from social networks as it is doing META AI helping its users on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp to express their ideas through AI-generated images, solve math problems, and offer suggestions to improve communication with their followers, all the way to the musical realm.
Last Wednesday, July 17, Spotify introduced its AI DJ tool in Spanish to its 53 million premium users in the Latin American market., DJ Livi, which offers an accompanied listening experience that not only recommends songs based on users« musical preferences but also includes the voice of Olivia »Livi” Quiroz Roa, senior editor at Spotify, who guides users through this new tool that promises to bring them closer to artists through the analysis of factors such as mood and time of day.
With this new feature, Spotify aims to revolutionize how businesses interact with their consumers through the creation of controlled environments and sensory experiences that can drive purchasing actions and foster customer loyalty. For example, a clothing store could implement the use of AI to select music that increases the likelihood of customers staying in the store and making purchases.
Furthermore, this can allow businesses to redirect their focus toward innovation and strategic growth.
This is just an approach to that not-so-distant future where technology and machines understand and respond to our needs as naturally as someone close to us, like a family member or friend, would. Therefore, companies that explore and adopt these advances will be the ones to remain at the forefront.
