Change is an opportunity for growth, this is our mantra: It is something we tell ourselves every day to maintain an open and flexible mind.
We believe the question goes beyond whether things will change or not, because we know that change is here, it's today, it's constant, and it's happening faster and faster.
We are living in a new reality: where planning for the future sounds like knowing what will happen next month, where giving ourselves the space to observe, analyze, and understand what's happening is an abnormal behavior, and where taking the time to make mistakes and try things is seen as a waste of time and money. In this reality, we want immediate, almost spontaneous results.
An approach that would seem natural given the speed at which we experience daily life. However, at Gerundio, we recognize that the only way to change is to understand transformation as a constant, living process. Therefore, we challenge ourselves to flow and move in step with the circumstances that revolutionize our contexts every day, and consequently, the way we perceive our reality.
We seek to ask the right questions, to dare to question, without the fear that comes with openly listening to the answers. We feed our creativity, always trying to seek the how so, and the how to add. We are convinced that creativity is a muscle that is exercised. Sometimes the path lacks clarity, and when that happens, we remember to trust the process, the methodology, and that uncertainty is part of the journey. Because by triggering the creative process, possibilities open up and new ideas require guidance from methodologies and processes that contain them as they navigate a boundless space.
This is how we enjoy learning: we assume that the answers won't always be correct and that we learn more from mistakes than from victories.
Accepting that step by step we will reach the goal, and concluding that both change and innovation are a process – a constant and conscious decision, to be enjoyed day by day.
In the end, thinking about change isn't the same as actually changing.
